HTN Business Membership

Annual fees: £450 / £750 / from £950

For tourism businesses that want to join HTN as recognised members and build a clearer trade-facing presence in the halal travel market.

HTN Business Membership is designed for DMCs, hotels, accommodation providers, tour operators, experience providers, transport companies, cruise operators, attractions and other tourism businesses working in or entering the halal travel market.

Business Membership gives members access to HTN training, guidance, market insight, member visibility and relevant network activity. It is designed for businesses that want to strengthen how their product, service or destination is understood, presented and positioned within the travel trade.

Membership is priced according to the size, structure and product scope of the organisation. This keeps membership accessible for smaller independent businesses while reflecting the wider commercial scope of larger, multi-product or group organisations.

Who this is for

HTN Business Membership is suitable for tourism businesses that want to:

  • Understand the halal travel market from a trade and industry perspective
  • Improve how their product, service or destination is presented to the travel trade
  • Strengthen the information agents, operators and partners need to assess and work with their offer
  • Take part in relevant HTN activity, including training, briefings, webinars, campaigns, events and member communications
  • Build a clearer place within HTN’s global B2B network

Business Membership is not a direct sales, booking or lead-generation service. It is designed to strengthen market understanding, trade readiness, product clarity and relevant industry visibility.

Business Membership pricing

HTN Business Membership has three pricing categories. The correct category is confirmed by HTN after reviewing the application.

Boutique & Independent - £450 per year
For smaller independent tourism businesses with a focused offer.

This may include boutique DMCs, independent accommodation providers, lodges, villas, local tour operators, attractions, restaurants, guides, activity providers and experience-led businesses with a limited number of products, properties or destinations.

This category is suitable for businesses that need a practical entry point into HTN, with access to training, guidance, member visibility and relevant network activity.

Standard Business - £750 per year
For tourism businesses with a broader commercial offer, stronger trade activity or more developed product structure.

This may include DMCs, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, attractions and travel businesses with several itineraries, services, products, routes, destination combinations or supplier relationships.

This category reflects the additional review, positioning and network consideration required when a business has a wider product range or more developed commercial activity. It gives HTN a stronger basis to understand the business properly, identify where the offer fits, and include it in relevant activity with the right level of context.

Group & Multi-Product - From £950 per year
For larger tourism businesses, groups and organisations with a wider product structure.

This may include cruise companies, hotel groups, multi-property brands, larger tour operators, transport providers, aviation partners, destination companies and organisations with multiple ships, properties, routes, regions, brands, departments or product lines.

This category is suitable for organisations that require wider product review, clearer category positioning and more careful placement within relevant HTN activity.

For larger organisations, the final fee may vary depending on the scale of the business, number of products or properties, intended use of the HTN network and level of review required.

Why the pricing categories matter

HTN works with a wide range of tourism businesses, from independent lodges and boutique DMCs to cruise companies, hotel groups and multi-product operators. A business with one focused product does not require the same level of review, positioning or network consideration as an organisation with multiple properties, routes, ships, regions or product lines.

The pricing categories allow HTN to keep membership accessible for smaller businesses while ensuring larger organisations are reviewed and positioned with the right level of care. Applicants may select the category they feel best reflects their business, but HTN will confirm the appropriate membership category after reviewing the application.

How Business Membership works

  1. Complete the Business Membership application form.
  2. HTN reviews your business type, product scope, market readiness and intended use of the network.
  3. HTN confirms the appropriate membership category and annual fee.
  4. Once approved, payment and onboarding details are shared.
  5. New members receive guidance on next steps, relevant access and use of the HTN member badge.

HTN may recommend a different membership category or route if the selected option does not reflect the organisation’s size, structure, product scope or level of involvement required.

Organisations that require a tailored programme, active campaign support, destination development, roadshows, FAM trips, PR, representation-style activity or wider market development may be better suited to HTN Market Partnership.
