Here, on islands governed by Islamic principles, you can unwind completely, free from the concerns of non-halal food, alcohol, or immodesty. The retreat will start on 01/12/25 in the captial of Maldives (Male), outside the airport, where transport will be provided to the local island. If flying out from the UK you will need to depart the day before to arrive in Male in time for the transfer to begin the retreat.
The Retreat will end on 07/12/25 with transport back to Male

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Welcome to Paradise – Arrival & Island Immersion

    • Arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE).

    • Meet and greet by Maldives Islamic Tourism team.

    • Speedboat transfer to Mathiveri (approx. 1 hr 30 mins).

    • Check-in and welcome drink.

    • Lunch at a local restaurant.

    • Leisure time: beach walk, village tour, sunset photography.

    • Orientation session with your guide.

    • Dinner at hotel or local eatery.

  • Day 2: Shipwreck Snorkeling & Picnic Island Escape (Mathiveri)

    • Morning boat trip to snorkel with Manta Rays and explore a shallow shipwreck site.

    • Visit to an uninhabited picnic island: swimming, reef snorkeling, beach games.

    • Picnic lunch on the beach.

    • Return to Mathiveri by late afternoon.

    • Dinner followed by optional Maldivian myth & sea storytelling session.

  • Day 3: Sandbank Serenity, Island Transfer & Night Fishing

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. However, due to the nature of this trip's planning, we are only able to offer 50% refund.
To offer you flexibility, we are happy to allow you to transfer your spot to another traveller. The responsibility for finding a suitable replacement lies with you. Once found, please contact us, and we will happily facilitate the name change on your booking.

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable adventure for everyone, please review these terms carefully. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies.

1. Passenger Responsibilities & Entry Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring you meet all entry requirements for your destination(s), including valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and any other health or immigration regulations. While we are happy to offer general guidance, the ultimate responsibility for compliance rests with you.

2. Group Dynamics
Our tours are designed for small groups, which we finalise closer to the departure date. This intimate size fosters a great social atmosphere and allows for a more personalised experience, though we acknowledge it may not be suited to every traveller's preference.

3. Itinerary Flexibility
The published itinerary is a guide to our intended journey. To maximise your experience and ensure everyone's safety, our Tour Leader may need to modify the schedule due to factors like weather, local events, attractions closures, or health advisories. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

4. Flights & Travel Delays
We are not responsible for airline schedule changes, cancellations, or delays. In the event of a disruption, we will provide reasonable assistance where possible, but arranging alternative transportation is your responsibility. Please note that no refunds will be provided for any missed portions of the tour due to travel delays.

5. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
Adventure travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or unexpected events. While we prioritise your safety and well-being, Halal Travel Lens cannot be held liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of nature, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances).

6. Medical Emergencies
You are responsible for any medical costs incurred during the trip. We will assist in locating appropriate medical services, but all expenses are your responsibility. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical coverage.

7. Release of Liability
By joining this tour, you voluntarily release Halal Travel Lens, its employees, and agents from any and all claims, even those arising from the potential negligence of the company, in connection with the tour activities. Securing travel insurance is your primary means of protection.

8. Photo & Video Release
We often take photos and videos to capture the memories we make together. By travelling with us, you grant us permission to use your image for promotional purposes (e.g., on our website, social media, or brochures). If you prefer not to be featured, please inform us in writing before your departure.

We are usually happy to share our professional media with you for personal use upon request, which may be provided as a courtesy or for a small administrative fee.



  • Water sports activities on Day 4 are optional and not included in the package. Guests can choose and pay based on their preference.

  • Excursions may be adjusted slightly due to weather or tide conditions.

The package is designed with Islamic tourism in mind—halal meals, prayer opportunities, and modesty-respecting activities.
