Participant Terms & Conditions

Programme Dates:
FAM Programme: 25–31 March 2026
Uzbekistan Roadshow: 1 April 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Halal Travel Network (HTN) Uzbekistan Trade Familiarisation (FAM) Trip and Roadshow 2026.

Payment of the participation fee confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

1. Confirmation of Participation

Participation is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment of the participation fee.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis. HTN reserves the right to reallocate unpaid places after the stated payment deadline.

Participation covers the integrated FAM and Roadshow programme. Partial attendance does not reduce the participation fee.

2. Participation Fee

The participation fee of £650 includes:

  • Participation in the FAM programme (25–31 March 2026)
  • Participation in the Uzbekistan Roadshow (1 April 2026)
  • Accommodation during official programme dates (arrival 25th March, departure 2nd April)
  • Scheduled site visits and organised meetings
  • Internal ground transfers related to the official programme
  • Structured B2B sessions during the roadshow

The participation fee does not include:

  • International flights
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Personal expenses
  • Optional extensions or additional nights outside the official programme dates

3. Cancellations & Substitutions

Participation fees are non-refundable.

In the event that a participant is unable to attend, HTN may, at its discretion, permit a substitute delegate from the same organisation. Substitution requests must be made in writing and approved by HTN prior to the programme start date.

No-shows are non-refundable. HTN reserves the right to take into account any no-shows at this or any HTN event when considering membership or future event applications.

4. Programme Amendments

HTN reserves the right to amend elements of the programme where necessary due to operational requirements, partner availability, governmental regulations or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

HTN shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, or alteration due to events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to governmental action, travel restrictions or natural events (force majeure).

5. Delegate Responsibilities

This is a structured trade development programme. Participants are expected to:

  • Attend scheduled meetings and B2B sessions.
  • Engage professionally with local partners and stakeholders.
  • Represent their organisation in good faith.
  • Participate in the Roadshow on 1st April 2026 as part of the integrated programme.

HTN reserves the right to refuse or revoke participation where conduct or business practices may compromise the integrity, professional standards, or reputation of the programme.

6. Insurance, Travel & Liability

Participants are responsible for:

  • Obtaining appropriate travel insurance.
  • Ensuring passport validity and visa compliance.
  • Managing their own international travel arrangements.

HTN’s total liability in connection with the programme shall not exceed the participation fee paid.

HTN shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, delay, force majeure events or consequential losses arising from participation in the programme.

7. Data Protection

Participant data will be processed in accordance with HTN’s Privacy Policy. Participants retain all rights in accordance with national and international data protection principles and legislation and should contact HTN with any concerns or requests in relation to their data.

8. Media & Communications

By participating, delegates consent to photography, video, and general media capture during the programme for HTN marketing, reporting, and promotional purposes.

If a participant requires exemption from media use, this must be requested in writing prior to the programme, unless in exceptional circumstances.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
